I am an
experienced freelance writer and sub-editor of 11 years and have worked
for a variety of publishing companies in London and Sydney, from consumer
to trade. I have been based in Sydney since 2001.
My
writing credits include The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age,
CLEO, YEN, Slimming & Health and many more.
Between August 2007 and November 2008 I was the editor
of CHERRIE, the monthly magazine for not-so-straight women in Australia.
I am also the editor of several books on topics as diverse as gender identity,
hypnosis and self-development, the latest being Trans People in Love
(Routledge, 2008).
I have

in the areas of building and construction, human resources, social housing
and advertising, marketing and media, as well as consumer magazines.
